Fun TImes in Kimberly

It has been great visiting Kimberly this year and spending time with our Whitehead Family. They are awsome hosts and we did a lot of really fun things this past week. Family is Terrific, what better way to spend vacation time. We have made some really great memories. The only thing that would have made them better is if Jeff could have been here too. Next time....
Here are some of the fun things we did-

DATE NIGHT

Bailey is an excellent planner especially when she is planning to set her cousins up on a date.
She informed us that Kiwi Loco was the place to go. Then back to the house to watch a movie and possibly a fire...  I think everyone had a great time. The rest of the crew couldn't figure out why we wouldn't take them to Kiwi Loco at the same time as the date was going on..... "COME ON..What's the big deal?"  We did find out how fantastic it was a few days later. Kaitlin was so excited about tasting it that it bounced right out of her hand and onto the pavement upside down. OOPS!!! back inside to get another.

Brigham came to town to play baseball and we all had to go watch and support. He pitched the last inning and it was great to watch him in action. We all left aunt Lori at the diamond to watch the second of a double hitter(that might be header) and we all ditched her, Some to go to a movie and others to go cliff jumping and have a huge get together of Teenagers at the Whitehead house.

Bailey went out to check on things that were left out on the back patio when the sprinklers turned on and ...Ooops, couldn't see where the spray was till it got her good.

Maddi was Uncle Wades helper in getting ready for his 4:30 am fishing trip with Cassin.  He could not understand why Cassin would choose hanging with girls over hanging with the fish. THey finally got the trip in on Saturday morning after Cassin had had one and a half hours of sleep because the cousins  had gone to the drive in the night before for a showing of Green Lantern and X-Men.

Macie, Kaitlin, Brinnley, Aunt Tera and myself were the only ones up to head to the Kimberly Good Neighbor Days parade on Sat. Morning. Brinnley was with her dance troup spraying water on the crowd for the parade. Macie, Kaitlin, and Marley(Macie's friend) had fun trying to catch some candy and not get wet.  After the parade we headed over to the park to check out the festivities

Randy Fenoll from Say yes to the dress  was there.

Not the greatest pictures with my phone but Kaitlin was excited to see him. She loves Say yes to the dress.  Tera told us he was there last year too. His cousin lives in Kimberly and they have a big reunion.  A real T.V. celebrity up close and personal. (Well not really personal with us but we did see him)
We ate a few HUGE elephant ears and sampled some Tropical Snow and then felt quite sick.

A trip to Kimberly would not be complete without a stop at REAL DEALS in Twin Falls so of course we made a quick run to see the cute stuff and then came back to get the gang and head back to the park to see what was going on.

Reptiles and rain. It started raining the minute we hit the park but it didn't last long. Everyone of my kids thought holding the snakes was the best. Me I choose the Tropical Snow-tigers blood with cream. YUMMY

The Trampoline was the most used item in our week here. We have a lot of gymnasts in the bunch. I think the little girls were on the most but when the teenagers could push them off for a minute they were having fun.

We're off for Rexburg tomorrow and then home. We'll have to see what fun we can drum up at home for the rest of the summer.....
STAY TUNED!
